Silk chiffon is a somewhat delicate, airy, sheer fabric. It has a matte finish, and is the same on the face and the back. Made with a crimped crepe yarn, it has a very slightly toothy texture. It’s wonderful for sheer blouses and dresses, and even pants with a lining. Dry clean; or hand wash if you don’t mind the fibers drawing up and the surface becoming more textured.
Be sure to read our note below about color before placing an order. The minimum order is 1 yard. When you click “add to cart,” you will be able to select which color you would like from a drop-down menu that will appear. Add the total number of full yards that you would like to your cart, then, if desired, add a half yard to your cart. If you order multiple yards / half yards of one silk type and color, it will come as one piece.
