Sarah Veblen Video Courses
Learn an array of topics and skills at your own pace with my streamable video courses. Once you purchase a course, these videos are yours to watch again and again for an unlimited time. They are valuable learning tools while you build skills with fitting, patternmaking, design, and more. To make them convenient references, each video is indexed with a timestamped list of key concepts, so it’s easy to come back to important ideas and refresh your memory whenever you’d like.

“Sarah’s approach to the challenging process of sewing is thoughtful, logical and explicit. It builds a solid foundation that allows a student to progress at her own pace, supporting both novice and experienced students. I have taken many of Sarah’s online and in-person classes over the years and still frequently review the written instructions and videos from them to improve my skills on specific projects. They invariably deepen my understanding and enhance my experience.
Above all, Sarah is infinitely kind, patient and encouraging. She is a mentor who will enrich your sewing experience and your life!”

Join me for a live video class, right from your home! These interactive classes typically run between 1 and 1-1/2 hours, with time for questions and answers throughout the presentation. Any class designated “Popular Choice” has been previously offered.
If you would like to have a class on a particular topic, I’m all ears! Email me at sarah@sarahveblen.com.
I run these classes through the online video conference platform, Zoom, which is free and easy to use. For more information about using Zoom for Sarah’s live video classes, see the FAQ page.
Anyone who registers for a class before it begins will have access to the recording. Because these classes are interactive, I do not sell the link to a prior class recording for privacy reasons.
I teach regularly for PatternReview.com, an online sewing community where sewers collaborate, share, and discuss the projects they have been working on, as well as take classes to build their skills and knowledge of sewing. Some of my classes consist of lessons that students download and read; most of these also have a video component. A few classes require a supply kit for making a specific project. Other classes are in an all-video format. All classes have a discussion board where students can post questions and directly communicate with me about the material I have presented in the lessons.
With more than 15 classes, I cover a wide variety of topics: technique classes such as construction and patternmaking; fabric-oriented classes such as knits, wools, and sheer fabrics; fitting classes such as bodice with darts and pants; and inspiration classes such as matching garment style to fabric (and vice versa) and coping with your sewing frustration.
