How on earth do I end up with things like this? This was purchased for costumes, but I think it could be used for other things. It’s a beautiful light gold color and transparent. Due to the metallic thread, it holds its shape. But it’s also easily folded. The warp is definitely silk or cotton, and the weft is a fine metallic thread of some sort. It would make an interesting vest or overlay on a skirt. And it would be fun to use in a fascinator hat or headband, and of course for a costume.
