This challis is really luscious. It has a herringbone weave and is soft to the touch. It has a soft hand and a bit of drape without being limp. The colors are golden tan, deep merlot, tan, light brown, and pinkish tan, all on a black background. It would make a wonderful shirt, skirt, or dress - and I think it would combine with all sorts of other fabrics. Pre-washed.
