Jersey knits vary a good deal. This one has a bit of structure without being stiff. It’s wonderful to touch — soft and you can feel the depth of the fabric, yet it is not really thick, somewhere between light- and mid-weight. Stretch: 2” stretches to 2-3/8” in the cross grain, and there’s a bit (but not much) stretch in the length of grain. The color is a dark, clear brown with a hint of red undertone. It would make a nice thicker t-shirt, a tunic, light jacket, or dress.
