I love silk chiffon. While many people think of it as a dressy fabric because it’s silk, I’ve made lots of casual garments from it, including a hoodie! This piece is printed panels - light purple, lavender and off-white on a black ground. Compose a garment using the panels, or cut it more randomly and mix-up the panels. Silk chiffon can be laundered (gentle wash and cool dryer), although it will lose it’s pristine surface (making it more casual to my eye). It has a soft, drapey hand. This pairs nicely with the “Men’s Wear Wool Suiting” in this month’s selection.
