I love having twist cording on hand, and this small (just less than 1/8” in diameter) is very versatile.

If you want a thicker cord, or a two-toned cord, you can ply cording together. There are gadgets made for this purpose, but you can easily do it using a pencil and a pin or doorknob.

This rayon twist cord washes very well. I use twist cording for:

• hoodie drawstrings

• peasant top drawstrings (I attach the cording to elastic, so the neckline is gathered mostly with the elastic)

• fun laced details on pants and tops

• button loops
