Silk crepe is extremely versatile opaque fabric. It is the same on the face and back, and has a slight sheen. Its drape and hand make it lovely for a dress with some fullness or a blouse that is soft but not clingy. It’s also a superb lining. Dry clean to preserve its original surface; hand washing gives the fabric a bit more structure and some sewers find it is then easier to handle and sew.
Be sure to read our note below about color before placing an order. The minimum order is 1 yard. When you click “add to cart,” you will be able to select which color you would like from a drop-down menu that will appear. Add the total number of full yards that you would like to your cart, then, if desired, add a half yard to your cart. If you order multiple yards / half yards of one silk type and color, it will come as one piece.
