Sometimes called the Cadillac of silks, 4-ply is simply luxurious. It is opaque, has a low sheen, and is the same on the face and the back. Although it is made with a crimped crepe yarn, it has a smooth hand, much like crepe de chine. It’s a wonderful fabric for soft dresses, more substantial blouses, and even pants. Dry clean; or hand wash if you don’t mind the fibers drawing up ever so slightly and the fabric losing some of its sheen.
Be sure to read our note below about color before placing an order. The minimum order is 1 yard. When you click “add to cart,” you will be able to select which color you would like from a drop-down menu that will appear. Add the total number of full yards that you would like to your cart, then, if desired, add a half yard to your cart. If you order multiple yards / half yards of one silk type and color, it will come as one piece.
