Variations on a Skirt
I love wearing these skirts because they’re so comfortable! My starting place was Vogue 7606. The yoke, which has been fitted for my body, is made from a stretch knit such as ponte knit or stretch jersey. For the skirt, I’ve used both knit and woven fabrics: some are from the original skirt pattern; some are full circles, or half circles, or three-quarter circles, with varying hemline shapes; others are pleated. The garment concept is made to order for exploring a range of creative ideas.
